In the first quarter of 2021, Brazil's iOS platform saw significant activity in the arcade racing category. Sensor Tower's data provides a closer look at the top five applications that dominated the scene during this period.

Need for Speed No Limits by Electronic Arts showed a promising start to the year, with downloads peaking at 9.7K in the last week of March. The weekly active users followed a similar upward trend, rising from 43.6K at the end of December to a high of 52.4K in the final week of March. The game's revenue also saw a notable increase, reaching a peak of $2.3K in the same week.

Gameloft's Asphalt 9: Legends experienced a fluctuating first quarter. While the downloads hit a high of 11.5K in the last week of March, weekly active users saw a decline, dipping to 19.1K from a high of 21.7K at the year's start. Revenue also had its highs and lows, with the highest recorded at $2.1K mid-January and dipping to $770 in the final week of the quarter.

The older sibling, Asphalt 8: Airborne, despite being an older release, still maintained a presence on the charts. The game's downloads saw a modest peak of 3.3K in early March, and weekly active users reached a quarter-high of 8.5K mid-March. Revenue for Asphalt 8: Airborne showed a high of $1.9K in the last week of January.

CarX Drift Racing 2 by CarX Technologies had a varied first quarter. The revenue had a small peak of $435 in the second week of February but ended the quarter at $120. Downloads hit their highest at 1.3K in the last week of March, while weekly active users doubled from 1.2K in early March to 2.3K by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, Need for Speed™ Most Wanted, another title from Electronic Arts, saw modest numbers. The downloads remained under 100 throughout the quarter, reaching a peak of 82 in early March. Weekly active users showed a slight increase from 121 at the start of the reporting period to 185 mid-March before settling at 165 by the end of the quarter.
